Mr & Mrs Jerky smoked meats are a family snack favorite passed down since the days of the Wild West. Great Great Granddad, one of the true cowboys of the southwest, created the first jerky products. The snacks were a savory and nourishing treat for the whole crew during long cattle drives. Each hand would never leave home without a saddle-pack full of cattle (beef) jerky by his side.

One day at the end of a long cattle drive, great great granddad, chanced upon a herd of buffalo. Not wanting to pass up a golden opportunity, he decided to create a new jerky treat, and soon buffalo jerky was the ranch favorite. But the story doesn’t end there. Great great grandma did her part too. Her special sauce gives our jerky that unique taste that has endured for generations.
